We are well versed in all power system fundamentals and provide a full design capability for all system voltages from 400 volts through to 11000 volts & 33000 volts AC and 750v & 1500v DC (Traction Power systems). Whether it’s stand-alone or as part of our overall contract works, with our extensive knowledge of electrical power design and power system analysis, we provide a valuable and flexible protective device coordination service to our clients. From the basic specification of single circuit switchgear schemes through to design and analysis or complete embedded generation design, transmission lines and arc flash analysis, we can completely support all of a client’s electrical power and energy needs.
Design Services for Electrical Power Systems
It is extremely important that any electrical power distribution system, components and electrical equipment is set up to operate correctly, non-more so than the protection systems. As well as new schemes, we can review existing protection systems and if necessary, recalculate the grading to ensure in the event of a fault occurring on your electric power systems, it causes no issues to the cascaded electrical distribution system upstream. We also provide full CAD drawing facilities with printing available of all sizes up to A1 to support efficient operation and protection schemes, as well as electrical engineering and testing to support electricity devices, short circuit analysis, load flow, transformers, generators, distribution systems and systems design.
